Neurotransmitter analysis

Telomere analysis

Telomeres are ends of chromosomes made from tandem repeats of a DNA sequence (TTAGGG) and associated proteins. Their function is to protect chromosome ends from DNA repair/degradation processes, as well as to ensure proper cell functionality and viability. Telomeres are progressively shortened in our body with each successive cycle of cell division. Telomerase is the enzyme capable of maintaining the length of telomeres. However, healthy cells produce little or no telomerase, so telomeres are progressively shortened until they reach a critical length, which triggers cell death or replicative senescence (an irreversible halt in cell division).

Estrogen metabolism

How estrogen is metabolized plays an important role in the pathogenesis of a wide variety of clinical conditions.
