FlorVaScan

FlorVaScan is a comprehensive cytological and microbiological investigation conducted based on the molecular analysis of vaginal flora.

ABOUT FLORVASCAN

FlorVaScan involves:

– Microscopic evaluation of vaginal discharge using standardized criteria and assigning a purity level.
– Quantitative analysis of H2O2-producing Lactobacilli.
– Quantitative analysis of associated aerobic and anaerobic bacterial flora.
– Detection of nucleic acids from Trichomonas spp. and Gardnerella vaginalis using a high-precision diagnostic method (PCR – polymerase chain reaction), as well as the most important bacteria associated with bacterial vaginosis (Atopobium vaginae, Mobiluncus spp.).
– Quantitative determination, microbiological identification of yeasts, and assessment of Lactobacilli (PCR analysis and culture).

WHO AND WHEN SHOULD BE TESTED?

The FLORVASCAN test is recommended:

– As part of prenatal care to prevent the risk of premature birth.
– For effective diagnosis of vaginal infections and optimization of treatment.
– For diagnosing and preventing infections before surgical procedures.

RESULTS AND INTERPRETATION

The FlorVaScan test is based exclusively on genetic analysis conducted using a blood or saliva sample.

– Detailed individual results that are valid for a lifetime.
– Identification of risk factors that may lead to health disorders and the main methods for effectively addressing them.
– Personalized recommendations based on the analysis of genetic variations.
